Research Abstract

Most of colon cancer tissue poses high ODC activity and putrescine content. We chose some of cancer tissues with extensively high ODC activity, extracted RNA and mede ODC cDNA by RT-PCR.Unfortunately, all of ODC cDNA which were sequenced did not has mutation. We speculate that much higher ODC activity of colon cancer was associated with the stability of ODC protein. We will investigate the relation antizyme mutation and ODC activity.
