| Research Abstract |
1.We prepared a list of Japanese research papers published from 1980 to 1993 and written from the quantitative viewpoint.
2.We made xerox copy of all the papers included in the list.
3.We determined and assigned a paper identification number to each research paper.
4.We read the content of those papers and decided whether the paper should be included in CD-ROM or not.
5.We input such information as the name of the authors, source of information, summary of the content, captions of graphs and tables, classified categories of the paper, and so on.
6.We sent a letter to the authors of the papers to get permission of reproduction.
7.We reduced the papers to A4 size.
8.We scanned all the papers and stored the image files in computer.
9.We converted the original image file into graphics file for browser.
10.We connected image file and reference information and prepared HTML file for browsing research papers.
11.By the above procedures, we have prepared to reproduce and distribute 1400 papers of Japanese quantitative linguistics by CD-ROM.
