Research Abstract |
(1) A method has been developed to divide a objective plant into seguments where fault diagnosis can be made without exchange of information on other segments (2) A signed digraph has been made for a mini-plant composed of pipelines and tanks simulating reactors with jacket and has been divided into segments by use of the above method. Distributed fault diagnosis systems have been designed corresponding to the individual segment. (3) The performances of the distributed fault diagnosis systems were examined from the view points : (a) speed of diagnosis (b) accuracy of diagnostic results (c) responsibility of diagnostic results by fault diagnosis experiments in 22 abnormal states from different origin of failures. Differences of performances by used algorithms were also examined for the following ones : (1) Original algorithm utilizing the signed digraph (2) Algorithm utilizing weighted signed digraph (3) Algorithm utilizing weighted signed digraph with conditional branches
