Research Abstract |
New educational methods using personal computers are presently being developed. We have developed a personal computer measurement system for experimental course of physics through experimentation in order to improve physics education. As a result, we have found that the system using a spreadsheet program for data processing and measuring instruments with data communication capability is suitable for our purposes. In regrad to measurement and education, we studied the following problems and got the following results. 1. To Expand the Application Capability of This System We applied this system to experiments with eight different kinds of themes and had educationally effective results. 2. To Reduce Defects in This System The defects of this system were high price and difficulty in measuring at high speed. The former was improved by using a cheap digital multimeter with data communication capability and the latter by using a digital oscilloscope with the same capability. I am currently undertaking to make a guide book for experiments using HyperText corresponded to use on the Internet.
