Research Abstract |
Disliking the science learning of students may be caused on the teachers disliking the science teaching in primary and lower secondary schools, because they have less confidence to teach the experimentation of science. The recent course of the study was revised to change to the learning with the experimentation from the learning by rote in science knowledge, we have therefore studied on the contents of mathematical and scientific (physics, chemistry, biology, and geology) experiments for the teacher-training course in Saitama university from 1995 to 1997. Here we report the summary of this study, especially in chemical experiments as follows, (1) for teacher-training in non-science oriented courses (400 students), the contents of educations for safty experimentation were investigated. (2) for teacher-training in science oriented courses (40 students), on the experiments in chemistry, 1 ; the inorganic qualitative analysis, 2 ; the quantitative analysis, and 3 ; the experiments assisted by the computer were investigated. (3) for teacher-training in science oriented course (10 students), the contents of advanced experiments in physical, inorganic, and organic chemistry were also investigated. The details of this study ought to be described in a report.
