Research Abstract

腹部のように呼吸によって拡大縮小する部位のMRIエコー信号が振幅と位相変動を受ける式をすでに導き,呼吸アーチファクト除去手法の開発に道を開いた.この式を基本として開発済みである一部未知パラメータの推定手法を組み合わせると2次元平面内の拡大縮小運動によるアーチファクト除去に関してはおおよその目処が立った.これに加えて実用上の課題は3次元的な体動によるアーチファクトの除去であり,これについても理論的なシミュレーションによる実験は成功している.すなわち,対象の3次元運動を補正するためには,スピンエコー法で多断面(3次元)画像を同時に撮影しておく.これらに対し,我々は開発した撮像断面内の回転を含む剛体運動に対するアーチファクト補正アルゴリズム(IEEE Trans.Med.Imag.vol.15,p.768,1996)を3次元に拡張し(JAMIT Frontier'97,p.35),実際に適用して効果を検証した.この際,動きはinter-viewのみで生じるとの仮定を行う.マルチスライス画像間は双線形補間を行う.また,計算誤差を減少させるため,重ね合わせアルゴリスムを用いた.動きパラメータを推定するため,動きがあるとROI領域外では画像エネルギーが増大するという最小エネルギー手法を用いた.結果として,view間で体の不意の動きが複数回起こったとしても,それらは各2次元スライスのk空間のデータの振幅と位相に対してどのように影響を与えるかの解析的表現が得られているので補正可能である.動きパラメータ推定に関し,提案手法では,従来法のように特別の位相変調ナビゲ-タエコーを使うのではなく,位相変調画像そのものを使う方式である.したがって,特別の撮像法を用いるのではなく,通常のスピンエコー法において,動きによるアーチファクトが起こった後,後処理によってそれを補正できる点が本研究の大きな特長である
