Research Abstract |
The objective of this research was to solve the both problems of using the conventional frequency pitch matching test and the continuous frequency pitch matching test by our proposed tinnitus test equipment based on Tonal Bell Theory, and develop a system that suits to an individual tinnitus patient by connecting with patients'information data base. In order to utilize the on-line real time chinically, the device was made compact with the construction of an easy application exclusive electrical circuit. The target was to develop a system that can diagnose and construct patients'information data base connected into a computer. As a result of this research, the test which considers the patients'treatment follow-up and testing tone handing were carried out easily on the computer screen. Thus recording during test and information management became very easy to carry out. The details are as follow ; 1. The developed system are composed by router, server network as well as tinnitus test equipment. Each equipment was connected through network. 2.The tinnitus test equipment was built-in into a noteboo type personal computer by design & construction of an exclusive electrical circuit. Three test modes were established into a software for the test & diagnosis system : (1) Conventional pitch matching test mode. (2) A mode that can test automatically and its procedures decided beforehand with the reference on the past patients'information. (3) A mode that allows freedom in the application of data base. 4.The results of the test recorded automatically by on-line real time, allowing the construction of patients'information data base.
