Research Abstract |
The present study has made clear the characteristics of the understanding about God and the people in the story of the Yahwist and in the story of the "Priesterschrift", mainly in the book of Exodus. According to the Yahwist God speaks to the people, opens the possibility of communication with them and gives them the freedom of decision, so that He cannot forsee the result of the sequences of events. The people act autonom and speak much with Him and among themselves. According to the Priesterschrift God gives commands to the people and expects from them obedience. But they don't obey Him at the immportant moments. Then God makes new actions to overcom the disobedience of the People.
