Research Abstract |
The Study hereof has a purpose to give a farther progress to the study on the water transportation in mediaeval eastern Japan, which becomes full of dispute recently. For this purpose such a planning has been done as follows. (1) History of historical research. (2) Collection and sort-out of documents, and its compilation. (3) Writing articles. As for (1) is done "Present Situation and its Problems over the Study on the Water Transportation in Mediaeval Eastern Japan", Minegishi Sumio & Murai Akisuke (des), Goods Distribution and Cities in Mediaeval Eastern Japan, 1995, Yamakawa. As for (2) is done nothing yet, because of technical problem of computer and computer scientists. As for (3) is done some of them, and some others are remaining undone. Efforts have been made for the future publication of a book which will consist of (1), (2), (3), and a list of literature.
