Research Abstract |
Direction finding of man made noises is of essential uimportance in EMC.Though some mthods have so far beenproposed, there are problems with them. The method we proposed, has the following advantages ; (1) it provides us withthe snapshot distribution of noise sources, and (2) it is based on the measurement of multiple field components ata single point. Computer simulations have shown that we can have the distributions of right- and left-handed polarized components by using the maximum entropy concept, and the agreement with the assumed source was found to be good. Further the effect of noise on the image reconstruction was also estimated. Finally we carried out the laboratory experiment and we obtained a good agreement with the assumed source.
