Research Abstract |
Analysing the characteristics of road-network shape, the followings were shown. (1) Most network shape indices are more sensitive to the number of links than the network types. (2) The inter-node distance index responses beter to the links effective to shorten the total time distanse among nodes, and it is sensitive to not only network scale but also network shap. Adapting the inter-nodes index to the real road networks, several kind of analyzes became possible. For example, first of all, we compared the efficiency of different road network, and it was shown that Fukuoka city road network is more efficient than other city road network. Secondly, we analyzed the effects of constracting the moterways in Fukuona city area, and it was shown that constracting those roads have huge impacts on the area. Thirdly, we analyzed the rolls of the radial road and the ring road in the radial-ring type network, and the importance of ring road was indicated. At the last analysis, we developed the mathematical model and the soluting algolism which serch the link minimizing the average internode distance on the whole network.
