| Research Abstract |
Research results are summarized as following :
a. For case-controls study subjects, DNA was collected from over 500 gastric cancer, 70 esophageal cancer, 80 liver cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma, 70 breast cancer cases, and over 700 healthy controls.
b. Genetic polymorphism analysis was performed to find the relationship between cytochrome p450 2E1,1A1, glutathione-S-transferase M1 specific genotypes and gastric cancer of hepatocellular carcinoma.
c. Limited associations between CYP2E1 Rsa1 RFLP and hepatocellular carcinoma, between CYPlA1 Exon7 RFLP and gastric cancer were observed in this study (Pharmacogenetics, Cancer, Therapeutic Research, Biomedicine & Pharmacogenetics).
