Research Abstract |
It is necessary to develop the innovative learning/teaching and evaluation methods to be able to achieve the objectives of curriculum in 4years of mursing college, because it aims more comprehensive objectives such as "To acquere the capacity and the attitudes to be able to think and act more independently, creatively, critically and perform with more problem solving attitude compared with 3years'curriculum. We were lookig for "human oriented learning/teaching method and the evaluation method beyond the ordinal medical educational model for many years for the above need. To develop effective learning/teaching method and their evaluation suitable, in nursing education in college level, we introduced "Simulated Patient" (abberv・・・ : SP) in teaching and learning settings. It was confirmed that the teaching/learning of nursing skills and the attitudes are conducted very well using SP because SP can evaluate the skills and the attitude of the nursing students very well. For the evaluational method, , we analyzed the students'learning process and the behavior during the small grorp problem solving activity in 3years and compared them with those in matured, experienced nurses. The latter will be continued to do research.
