Research Abstract |
We have done the following research development aiming at the development of the intelligent programming guide system. ・Structure oriented plan based editor (PBE) ・Program diagnosis based on PBE ・Guidance of programming process based on case studies ・Description of programming process using the decision support system IBIS ・Program diagnosis system via internet ・Diagnosis system of program well formedness ・According to the above research, we have found the following facts : ・Plans are effective vehicles for program diagnosis, but it is difficult to construct plan libraries. ・It is necessary to understand and to guide the programming process in order to guide users' programming processes. IBIS is the effective notation for this purpose. ・WWW is the effective infra structure for distributed and distant learning system, but it has several limitations in order to use for the ITS environment
