Research Abstract

アクセプターを導入したカルバゾール基を末端に有するデンドリマ-を3種類合成した。これらのデンドリマ-は固体でガラス転移を示し、溶液からのスピンコートによりマトリックスポリマーを必要とせず、薄膜作成が可能であった。この分子性固体薄膜はガラス転移温度以上の温度でポーリング可能であり、二次非線形光学応答を示すことを見いだした。1.064μmを基本波とする光第二高調波発生の測定により得られた二次非線形光学定数d33は50pm/Vであった。これは通常の機能性高分子材料に比べ大きな非線形光学応答であり、非線形光学色素が高濃度で凝集した分子性固体膜の利点と言える。二次非線形光学応答に加えて、アクセプターを有するカルバゾール基由来の光導電性を利用したフォトリフラクティブ効果も2光波結合および四光波混合により確認された。このように、電場配向した分子性固体膜がフォトニクス材料として有用であることが明らかにされた。
