Research Abstract |
Several experiments have been made since 1993 on medical application of synchrotron radiation in cooperation of Research Center of Charged Particle Therapy, National Institute of Radiological Sciences and High Energy Accelerator Research Organization, Institute of Materials Structure Science. In the last one performed in may 1996, statistically significant difference was proved in an absorbed coefficient of monochronal X-ray produced from synchrotron radiation between fresh tissues of hepatocellular carcinoma and liver cirrhosis.
