| Research Abstract |
The head investigator and 6 investigators prepare 61 papers for the period in 1996 to 1997 related to the topics in the project. To derive a unified theory for analysis in designs with reference to its applications, several results below are also obtained. In fact, five articles are prepared under the project.
(1) The presentation of unified treatment of model building by use of a principle of randomization.
(2) The derivation of statistical justification of proper block designs, based on (1).
(3) The introduction of randomization into non-proper block designs and its statistical justification, based on (1).
(4) The characterization of comnbinatorial properties of some nested balanced incomplete block designs.
