| Research Abstract |
The clarification in our investigation is that, there is the secretary who participates in the process of the decision making in China. It is neither the type of the secretary who handles miscellaneous duties like it in Japan, nor the type by which the secretary executes clerical work as a proxy like it in Europe and America, and another type.
The secretary in China is working in the Government authorities, the foreign capital or the domestic capital. This investigation research targeted the secretaries who worked in the foreign capital enterprises in Shanghai where the reformation and liberating had advanced.
The investigation item composed 186 questions which concerned the content of the secretary business, the concern concerning politics, the level of the secretary business, the hobby, the concern, the motive of the education and the job selection, the consumption consideration, consideration concerning the marriage, outlooks on value, and basic datas of the individual and the enterprise. It was clarified that the secretary in China participated in the decision making by collecting, making, processing, accumulating, retrieving, and offering information which became the judgment material of the decision making which was superior's business for the superior though would be entrusted a detailed research in the future through this investigation.
