Research Abstract

キラル高分子およびキラルモノマーの合成、並びにその機能についての研究から本年度は下記の成果を得た。
(1) アセチレン架橋複核金属錯体を触媒に用いて、キラルイソシアニドとアキラルイソシアニドとの共重合を行い、らせん方向の識別選択性を検討したところ、興味あることに両モノマーの比率から予想される選択性よりも高いらせん方向識別重合が観察された。また、イソシアニドポリマーがリオトロピックおよびサーモトロピック両液晶性を示すことも見いだした。
(2) 官能性有機化合物の効率的不斉合成法の開発研究の一環として、「キラル配位剤を用いる不斉リチオ化手法」を用いて、エナンチオ選択的な[2,3]-Wittig転位とカルボアニオン環化反応を検討し、前者によってホモアリルアルコール類が、後者によって置換シクロペンタノール誘導体が高い不斉収率でえられることを見い出した。
(3) 通常のC2対称光学活性メタロセン触媒で得られるポリ(3-メチル-1-ブテン)やポリ(エイコセン)は、立体規則性が低いために比旋光度が小さい。そこで、非常に高い立体特異性を示すC1およびC2対称メタロセン触媒の合成を目指して、不斉配位子を用いた光学活性メタロセン錯体の選択的合成を試みた。その結果、配位子の光学分割において高純度の不斉配位子を高収率で得るための幾つかの指針が得られた。
(4) 高分子主鎖の立体配置によるキラル発現を環化共重合法で達成し、そのキラル発現の効率に対するテンプレートの嵩高さの効果を調べ、モノマーの回転異性体が係わる支配を明かにした。また、モデル環化反応による環化ユニマーの単離およびエナンチオマーの生成分布の定量から重合におけるキラル発現の因子を確認した。テンプレートから高分子の連鎖がキラルになる最小の構造単位として、孤立二連子B-A-A-Bによるキラル発現をポリマーの旋光度と孤立二連子の重量分率の相関から実証した。
(5) 光学活性アミン存在下、ポリマー主鎖に誘起されたポリ((4カルボキシフェニル)アセチレン)のらせん構造が、光学不活性なアミンで置換後も保持されることを見い出した。また、光学活性なポリチオフェン誘導体が様々の金属塩存在下、らせん構造を形成し、長波長領域に誘起CDを示すことも見い出した。
