Research Abstract

平成8年度から11年度まで4年間にわたって行った特定領域研究(A)「蛋白分解のニューバイオロジー」の研究のとりまとめを、以下の3項目についておこなった。
1)冊子体報告書の作成:本研究に参加した計画班員、公募班員全員に、本研究で行った研究の「研究目的、方法、成果、討論」に関する資料の提出を依頼し、その研究成果の「発表論文リスト」と共にまとめて研究成果報告書とした。これらの資料を補足する意味で、計画班員からは「研究成果を最もよく紹介する総説または原著論文」一篇を提出してもらい、これらの資料をまとめて印刷し冊子体報告書を作成した。
2)終了時のヒヤリングのための資料の収集:平成12年10月10日に行われた文部省の研究終了時のヒヤリングのために、各班員から論文リスト、研究の主な成果に関する資料を提出してもらい、口頭発表の原稿を作成し、別に報告書をまとめてヒヤリング席上で配布した。
3)研究成果の公表・発表会の開催:4年間の研究成果を広く一般に公開・宣伝すると共に、研究成果や研究領域の今後の発展方向を探るために、一般向けのシンポジウムと専門家向けのシンポジウムを開催した。一般向けのシンポジウムとしては、文部省の研究成果公開促進費の援助を得て、平成12年11月7日、8日、東京日経ホールで「タンパク質分解:こわれなくてもこわれすぎてもいけない」を開催し、班員を中心に15名が研究成果を発表した。約800名の参加希望者があった。専門家向けのシンポジウムは、平成13年2月19日、20日、東京ガーデンパレスで、「蛋白質分解:拡大するバイオロジーと病態」を開催し、20名の班員が研究成果を報告し、研究の今後の発展も含めて広い視点から討論した。
