Japanese teacher education system is turning point now. From the world-wide view, though teachers must get masters degree, japanese system employ two-year fulltime students or one-year fulltime and one-tear part time system. This system cannot adopt much school teachers. In Council of Teacher Education (Kyo-Yo-Sin), this problem need further consideration, and there is a plan about telecommunications university, but there is social needs about teacher education systems with new concepts.
This research was conducted with considering these conditions, and propose variey possibilities in the long run. For example, 'Basic directions of teacher education system', 'Problems about inservice teacher training', 'Practical research methods in educational research', 'Integration of learning and working with learning organizations', 'Teachers professional development based teacher education', 'Possibility of distance learning for school teachers with SCS and Internet'. Especially, in the masters degree program, importance of practical research methodology and promote teachers professinal development is point out. In the reseach about foreign countries, there is a key concepts about teacher education with university-school partnerships. The university-school partnerships will more important with developmetn of information technology, theory about oraganization or behavior will be basic theory of teacher education in the future.
