| Research Abstract |
We developed a new CAI system for foreign language education. This system consisted of an authoring tool, an execution tool, an installation tool and andata download tool. As for the system, there was the advantage that multimedia teaching materials can be simply made without the scripting.
1. Two English teaching materials ("Idea, Design, Machine" and "Tricks, Techniques and Strategies for Reading") were made using this system. The making of the teaching material used by this system could be made materials very simply beween the shotr time.
2. The teaching materials made were actually used for a student by a class, and questionnaire investigation was enforced. As a result, it became clear that the teaching materials made could contribute to improvement of reading ability of students.
