Research Abstract

Summary of research results is as follows.
1. I found the important and the impossibility of comparative research on institutionalization of social sciences in modern Japan.
2. In modern Japanese sociology, there were two directions. One is "setting sociology in realty" and the other is "setting realities in sociological order" , these affected institutionalization of sociology.
3. I termed the forward "new-type sociology", and the last "old-type sociology". We would be able to use this typology to analysis scientific conflicts of Japanese sociology.
