| Research Abstract |
I arranged Ju Yan and Dun Huang Han wooden strips on a card system. And I studyed drawing up, keeping of documents, and some questions on ancient history of Chine. The following is results of them.
I On drawing up, keeping of documents and stamp, *(jian)
(1)The writer of ****(Hou en ce shu)are three. The first **(Yuan shu)is copy in **(Hou guan), the second ** is origina1. This ** was bound them with an invoice and kept.
(2)When send the documents from the superior office to the inferior office, bind after the documents from the superior office.
(3)The formal document tend to be written on **(Liang hang), the copy tend to be written on *(zha). ** is not used only to increase the number of letter.The shapes of wooden strips were used properly'according to the object or content.
(4)There were some wooden strips that wrote the letters of stamps, the date and the name of deliverer on their reverse side. They don't use *, sea1 on the wooden strips directly. In some cases, The reverse side of wooden strips functioned as *.
II On **(redemption of funishment)
(1)In *(Qin) period, there were two**. One have the meaning of substitution of original punishment, and the other don't have the meaning of substitution and consideration. After Han period, the latter is disappeaerd.
III On the manufactuaring of clothing
(1)The manufacturing of clothing was mainly women's work. In * and *(Han) period, as a rule, the clothing was provided for oneself, and the ability to provide was one of conditions of an adult.
