Research Abstract |
1.This research project has followed "The Research for the Records of No-Performances and the Making up the Chronology about No-Performances" (Grant-in Aid for Scientific Research 1991-1993, Project Number 03301054, Head Investgator Prof.Akira OMOTE) on researching for the history of No-Performances ; moreover, it has continued from the preceding my studies for the Kinsei as utai-culture, starting from "Reprint and Study of 'Yoza-Oyakusha-Tekagami'(Comment of No-Actors in Jokyo era, around 1687)" (The Bulletin of The National Institute of Japanese Literature vol.18,1992). 2.This research project aims at using the Records of No playrs in the early Edo period as documents of the history for the Nogaku, in particular for various activities of Waki-Yakusha (the support of the No-Performances). 3.I have researched into the documents about lineages of the Shundo family and the Hosho family, then I have tried to decide their lineages. In the process of this research I have discovered the "Gokerai-no-Kogi-Meshidasaru-Mono" (the Goverment official in the Tokugawa-Bakufu from the ranks of rulal Hagi Clan), and acknowledged it that it's very important data about the Shundo and Hosho families. 4.I have researched into the "No-Bangumi" (the records of No-Performances)performed by the Shundo family and the Hosho family as well as their followers. 5.I have studied various activities of the Shundo group and the Hosho group in Rulal Clans, Kaga, Sendai, Kumamoto, Hagi, Tosa, Owari, Kishu, Mito, Satsuma, Hiroshima, Toyama, Suwa, Okayama, Iwakuni, Matsumoto, Matsuyama, and Kyoto in the early Edo period, then I have been convinced of the fact, they worked a wide field and they performed in every place beyond our expectation.
