| Research Abstract |
The objective of this study was to investigate three economic problems :
(i)Incentives for the disclosure and the utilization of economic information by individual firms, (ii) The behavior of collecting and supplying economic information, and (iii) Desinging institutions for collecting and supplying economic information. In order to investigate these problems, this study conducted the followings :
(1)Investigation of how economic information is stored and managed within individual firms.
(2)Investigation of the current status of EDI/CALS.
(3)Construction of economic models of individual firms to show the incentive for disclosing and utilizing economic information.
(4)Analysis of the behavior of an economic agent collecting and supplying economic information.
