Research Abstract |
This thesis simulates the car behavior in the road traffic flow and the parking lot. The vehicle behavior of the road traffic flow and the parking lot was constructed with a microscopic model by FORTRAN-77. The traffic simulation model, which can reproduce various traffic flow, is constructed to cause the interval of the signal intersection in the street traffic, to decrease the traffic congestion etc. which occur as much as possible, and to secure a safe, smooth traffic flow. And this research the influence which the intersection interval exerts on traffic flow. Micro simulation model, by model, by which the behavior of an individual car was able to be reproduced. was adopted. And in this simulation model, it made it to the model by which an arbitrary highway. Net was able to be constructed in consideration of behavior in an actual intersection. The influebce, which the signal intersection interval exerted on traffic flow since it verified it by using this model was clarified. A parking lot system consists of a micro traffic simulation model which can track the movement of individual vehicles. By combining the road and the parking stall within the parking lot as elementary blocks, it is possible to compose an arbitrary scale and form of parking lot. Experimental results with actual investigated data suggest that the developed system is useful for supporting planning of the parking lot.
