Research Abstract |
ZnO/Au nanocomposite thin films were fabricated by electrodepositon from an aqueous solution of Zn(NO_3)_2 and KAuCl_4. The composite film contained small particle of Au average diameter of which was in the range from 18 to 25 nm. The composite films was transparent and showed red color arise from the surface plasmon absorption of Au small particles as being deposited without subsequent heat treatment.
