Research Abstract |
In order to estimate three dimensional heterogeneous hydraulic properties in multiphase condition in underground, numerical inversion code based on quasi-Newton method and optimal control method for two-phase condition has been developed. To evaluate the reliability on hydraulic parameters estimated by hydropulse tomography, highly efficient numerical algorithm with pressure change rate matching for single-phase inversion has been developed, and confidence intervals of hydraulic properties estimated by the code has been calculated. 'And, by analytical study, pressure change rate matching algorithm for two-phase numerical inversion has been found out to be possible to construct. Laboratory air pulse test for a dry sandstone and a wet sandstone has been carried out, and two-phase inversion method is proved to be useful for pressure matching. Also field pressure data of hydropulse test in free water zone has been used to see the applicability of the code, and two-phase inversion result has compared to single-phase inversion result.
