Research Abstract |
We Investigated the effects of inhalational general anesthetics on the amount of mRNA in liver cells after hepatectomy in rats. But no suppressive effect was observed. Then we changed the subject and the method. Hemodynamic stability may be very important factor for post-operative recovery of liver surgery. We investigated the effect of volatile and intravenous anesthetics on the dynamics of heart rate variability (HRV) in humans. Isoflurane, popular volatile anesthetics, decreased not only each frequency components with frequency domain analysis of HIRV but Lyapunov exponent and correlation dimension of HRV time series data. In the other hand, propofol-fentanyl anesthesia did not decreased approximate entropy of HRV.Surgical noxious stimuli remarkably decreased nonlinear parameters of HRV.
