Research Abstract |
The purpose of this study was to make next three matters clear. First, the teaching material development on the communication system for the classroom teaching of the preservie teacher education was developed. The object of its material development is to teach undergraduate students the key concept of communication message, in which we cannot transmit the meaning of the word. We can transmit only its messages of the word. Second, the effectiveness of learning "T.E.T", of which Tomas Gorden started his work in order to prevent a refusal to go to school, was identified in a high school and a University. T.E.T.is an abbreviation for Teachers' Effectiveness Training, introduced into Japan by Mrs. Chie Kondou in 1985. There are two kinds of messages, I-message and You-message. On the classroom newspaper and short-term lecture of "T.E.T.", I-message encourages students to work their tasks for themselves, but You-message forces students to do their tasks. Especially, when the teacher uses more I-message than You-message, it is necessary for him to acquire a new point of view, that is, a view which enables him to judge whether the problems are on the teachers or on the students. Third, the result of a questionnaire survey of 1213 elementary pupils, 1170 junior high school students, and 444 senior high school students, shows that there are differences between students and their teachers on the view points of their school learning and their school lives. Especially, the teachers actually give a poor illustration which attracts students. Teachers seldom uses bad words, but their words arouse their students' suspicion. The learners want their teachers to listen to their wishes.
