Research Abstract |
We have clarified the role of university hospital as the place for residents' clinical training and investigated postgraduate clinical trainings including objectives to be achieved, training programs, estimation of residents after clinical training, and their positions at "The conference for postgraduate clinical training for residents". It was consequently conformed to make out common curriculums for every university hospitals. Members of faculty engaging in clinical training for residents from 12 national universities issued the common curriculum for postgraduate clinical training for residents in national university hospitals after 6 their meetings to hear opinions from every national university hospitals. This curriculum is a common program for clinical training for residents in every university hospitals in Japan and prepared on the basis of medical education, basic research, medical examinations, and postgraduate clinical training. It is expected that residents would be sufficiently trained on the basis of this common curriculum in every university hospitals in near futur.
