| Research Abstract |
The purpose if this project is to research the problem of how, in Muromachi-era, they studied and enjoyed the Manyosyu. Especially we tried to reseatrch, in the late Muromachi-era, how Lord Sanetaka San jonisi, who was the most famous and important aristocrat, studied and enjoyed it.
For the purpose of this project, it is necessary to think about studies on classies in the same Muromachi-era, and also to think about Waka-poem, about Renga-poem, about Kagaku (study of Waka-poem).
First, we started textual studies of the Iti-yo-sho, that was edited by Sanetaka San jonis. We studied of the text, especially that belongs to the Library of Kyoto University (the LKUtext). In 1999 we finished the reprint of the LKUtext.
And besides we continued textual studies of the Iti-yo-sho, those texts belong to the National Museum of Japanese History (NMJHtext), and the Ochanomizu Library, and Soikado Library, and the National Institute of Japanese Literature (the NIJLtext), and Kariya City Library.
We compared those texts carefully, and recognized that the best text is the LKUtext. The reason why we recognized so is, the LKUtext has fundamental likeness to the pieces of original text. It belongs to the N.I.J.L.In addition to this, the original text remains only in fragments, but the LKUtext remains most of books.
And now we have new prospect, of the studies and enjoyment of the Manyosyu, in the Muromachi-era. We will reprint the LKUtext for one of the report of the projects.
