Research Abstract |
We carried out a research on Chinese paintings and calligraphic works of Japanese collection which are important for the present project. First, we photographed in black and white general view of all the works with 6X4.5 size camera. Next, We took actual size black and white photographs of the signature and seal marks of the artists and collectors on the works. For easier identification of ink colors, 6X4.5 color photographs and 35mm color slides were also taken when necessary. An actual size print of each seal mark in these photographs are pasted on cards and classified by the artists and collectors. Authenticity and dates of each signature and seal marks were also considered.
