Research Abstract

By analyzing "the Fishery Diary" (1968-1991) which the fisherman recorded in Shinojima , Aichi prefecture, I studied the fishing activities and the practice of fishing ground. The fishing deals with a Japanese anchovy and a sand eel.In the fishery, he was doing fishery, to be of primary concern in a Japanese anchovy in May and in October1 to be of primary concern in a sand eel in March.He did fishery on the Mikawa Bay and the Ise Bay in March, he did fishery on the Atsumi Peninsula coast in May, and he did fishery on the Mikawa Bay, Ise Bayin , the Atsumi Peninsula coast in October.I made the actual state of the seasonal change of the fishing ground clear.I carried the "the Fishery Diary" (1978-1980) on the report book, and interpreted them from the view point of a folkioric study.
