Research Abstract |
This study focuses in Growth Management Techniques and its effect on functional improvement on basic infrastructures such as road, park and sewerage. Following researches have fulfilled at this fiscal year. 1) Development of analytical method New index that could measure infrastructure gaps are developed. Their perfomances have benn examined by using real data. 2) Checking the possibilities of growth cap policy This analytical method have applied to all cities in Kanto region. From this analysis, it is calrified that growth cap policies must be one of effective policies especially at flinge area of Kanto metropolitan area. 3) Examination of Political Combination This analytical method is also applied for 67 major Japanese cities. The results shows the importance of non-growth management policies to minimaize gaps. Especially, it is shown that financial condition is the important factor to improve condition.
