Research Abstract |
Our discovery of a specific activity toward fructose in a cell hogenate of a newly isolated bacterium is the start of present research project. The research results are as follows : (1) Application of the enzyme to diagnostic reagents. (2) Elucidation of the structure of the novel enzyme (fructokinase) from gene cloning. (3) Recombinant and gene expression.
