| Research Abstract |
We have investigated the collaboration between school and community education facilities, developing the information education curriculum and educational methods.
l) Possibility of information education at education facilities in region.
We have researched the issues of learning circumstances, a learning supporting system and an information circulation on information education at community education facilities such as library, continuing education center, public hall and so on. As a result of this study, it is effective to construct the data base for regional information on information education.
2) Possibility of information education in school education.
We made the learners use the computers freely in elementary school and it became clear they could use it effectively by group activities with the only guidance book
3) Study of regional education facilities.
The utilization of telecommunications network connecting school and community education facilities has been investigated.

The curriculum on information education has been researched according to the development process at elementary school, so we have developed the learning items that were available for learning activities at community education facilities on school based education.
5) Information education via Video Conference System at community education facilities.
We have developed the supplementary learning at community education facilities on information education. As school and community education facilities were connected mutually via Video Conference System, it was effective to support the information activities for the learners by the teachers at community education facilities.
6) Collaboration between school and community education facilities on information education
