Research Abstract

本年度は、計画通り、進行波の線型化固有値問題に対する位相的方法の、二次元性を持たない分岐構造によって生み出される進行波への拡張を研究した。先ず、分岐問題を二次元の中心多様体へ制限出来る場合について。固有値問題は相空間の接束上で定義されているが、これを接束の外積上の系として定義しなおすことにより、元の固有値問題が必ずしも二元性を持っておらずともこの新しい系に或る種の二次元性を持たすことが出来ることが分かった。本質的に三次元構造を持つインクリネーション・フリップホモクリニック軌道からの分岐についても研究を行い、この分岐の内包する馬蹄写像と固有値問題の対応を部分的に解明した。
