Research Abstract

新規活性型超原子価ヨウ素試薬の合成とそれを用いる新反応の開発研究を研究計画に基づき実施した。その結果、ルイス酸活性型超原子価ヨウ素試薬(PIFA-BF_3・Et_2OあるいはPIFA-TMSOTf)を用いてアルキルアジド側鎖を有するフェノールエーテル類からキノンイミン類への1工程変換反応(Chem.Pharm.Bull.,1999.)並びにその応用としてインドロキノンイミン類を短工程合成(J.Chem.Soc.,Perkin Trans l,1998.)にも成功した。また、活性なアジド化試薬PhI=O-TMSN_3を用いることにより、芳香化等の副反応を抑えてジヒドロペンゾチオフェン類の効率の良いα位アジド化(Chem.Commun.,1998.)に成功し、不安定なN,S-アセタール構造構築の新手法を確立した。さらに、これらの反応を組み合わせることで含硫黄抗腫瘍性海洋天然物makaluvamine Fの最初の全合成を達成した(Chem.Commun.,1999.)。この他、活性試薬(PIFA-BF_3・Et_2O)を用いたビアリールカップリング反応(J.Org.Chem.,1998.)およびそれを用いるヒガンバナアルカロイド類の合成(J.Org.Chem.,1998.)にも成功した。さらに超原子価ヨウ素試薬の新規な触媒的活性化法として界面活性剤であるCTABにより形成されるミセル中で不活性なヨウ素試薬(PhI=O)が飛躍的に活性化されることを見出し、これにより超原子価ヨウ素の反応が幅広い溶媒中(水から非極性のヘキサンまで)、中性緩和な条件下で行えるようになった(Tetrahedron Lett.,1998.)。
