Research Abstract

1. n-3系列不飽和脂肪酸であるα-リノレン酸、エイコサペンタエン酸、ドコサヘキサエン酸が脂質性ケミカルメディエーターやサイトカインの産生、病態に及ぼす影響の比較
1) ラットの肺胞および腹腔マクロファージのカルシウムイオノフオア刺激下でのPAF産生が、α-リノレン酸を多く含むシソ油を与えることにより、リノール酸を多く含むベニバナ油を与えるよりも少なくなることが分かった。
2) 脾臓細胞のリポポリサッカライド刺激下でのIL-1βのmRNA発現誘導が、ドコサヘキサエン酸エチルエステルを添加した飼料を与えることにより、飽和、一価不飽和脂肪酸を多く含む牛脂を添加飼料を与えるよりも低くなることが分かった。しかしながら、エイコサペンタエン酸エチルエステル添加食群では、IL-1βのmRNA発現誘導の有意な低下はみられなかった。
3) シソ油およびドコサヘキサエン酸を多く含む魚油を与えることによって、II型糖尿病自然発症モデルであるOLETFラットのインシュリン感受性が、牛脂およびベニバナ油添加食群に比べて高くなることが分かった。
2. n-3系脂肪酸の長期摂取が過酸化傷害に及ぼす影響
1) ドコサヘキサエン酸を多く含む魚油を添加した飼料を長期に渡って与えても、マウスにおける四塩化炭素誘導慢性肝障害の症状を悪化させず、チオバルビツール酸反応性物質(TBARS)やカルボニル化蛋白質として測定した、脂質過酸化の程度の上昇は観察されなかった。
