Research Abstract

平成10年度の研究成果
1. ワークステーションクラスタ上での分散共有メモリシステムの実現
STAFF-Linkにより接続されたワークステーション環境において,プロセス間通信機構として分散共有メモリシステムの実装を行なった.その評価結果から,STAFF-Linkによる分散共有メモリシステムにおいて,効率の良いメモリアクセス速度の向上を確認した.その結果については,4月にアムステルダムで開催されたHPCN'98において報告した.
2. WSクラスタにおけるHome Proxy機構の実現
さらに,ワークステーション環境において,分散共有メモリシステムを実現する上で外部からのホームメモリにアクセス時のI/Oバスにおけるボトルネックを解消する方法として,Home Proxy Cacheを提案し,それを制御するHome Proxy機構を行なった.その評価結果から,Home Proxyによる分散共有メモリのおいて,高速な共有メモリアクセスの向上を可能とした.その結果については,JSPP'98およびPDPTA'98において成果を報告した.
