Research Abstract |
This research is to investigate the developmental process of competency in alteration between common Japanese and dialectal Japanese, using shadowing method. Children in Japan use and alter the varitte of discourse repatoir in their mundane life. As one of the most inportant communictional competency, this alteration of repatoir has to be included. Shadowing method, in which children are followed up by ethnographers and video camera, reveals the qualitative variety of children's discourse repatoir and its alteration according to their everyday life events. We gathered three whole-day data of two children in Yamagata and Tokyo in VCR and ACR.Law materials are transcribed and analysed according to desciriptive linguistic way and discourse analytic way.
