Research Abstract

実数体上定義された複数代数多様体の(特にその上の)幾何構造をその実部たる実代数多様体の(特にその上の)幾何構造から研究することを目的とする。
代表者の実績
射影平面上の6点のなす配置空間に働くワイル群W(E_6)の作用を実及び複素数体上研究し実模型の組合わせ的性質から配置空間のコンパクト化の詳しい構造を明らかにした([1])。
複素射影直線上の5点のなす配置空間には複素双曲構造が入ることが知られている;対応する離散群も分かっている。その離散群の実部分群による実双曲空間の商空間は実射影直線上の5点のなす配置空間に同型である([2])。このことは5点を6点にしても成立する([3])。
実3次曲面のモジュライ空間に実双曲構造が入ることを示した([6])。
白頭絡みに対応する群と実射影直線上の6点のなす配置空間に対応する群の関係が分担者との共同研究で明らかになりつつある。
分担者の実績
実射影直線状のn点の配置空間のモデルをn-3次元球面からある手術の例によって実現した([5])。
実射影直線上の点の配置空間が平面上の等角多角形のモジュライ空間と同一視できることに注目し、Thurstonの双曲化に倣ってこの配置空間が双曲構造を許容することを示してその完備化を構成した([4])
実射影直線上のn点の配置空間のモデルをn-3次元球面からある手術の列によって実現した([5])。
