Research Abstract

果実の成熟は,植物ホルモンの一つである植物成長調節剤エチレンに促進される.エチレンは,過熟後は老化を促進し果実の品質低下を招くことになる.エチレンの阻害効果をもつ1-メチルシクロプロペン(1-MCP)ガスは高いエチレン受容体結合阻害効果を持ち,果実の成熟遅延効果剤として注目されている.1-MCPは室温ガスとして存在し,低濃度で使用するためα-シクロデキストリン(CD)に包接させた粉末として利用されている.本研究では,1-MCP・・-CD包接複合体結晶粉末を包括したエレクトロスピニングファイバーを作製し,このファイバーからの1-MCP徐放速度に及ぼす環境湿度の影響について検討した.
1-MCP・α-CD包接複合体結晶粉末は,微細な針状結晶が得られた.結晶粉末からの見掛け徐放フラックスF[1/Ms]は,湿度が30-40%以上で徐放を開始し,ある湿度で最大値を示した後,急激に見掛け徐放フラックスが減少し,湿度80%付近で最低値の値となるコラップス現象が観察された.ファイバーからの湿度応答に対する1-MCP徐放挙動は湿度上昇に伴うフラックス増加を示すが,高湿度になると,CD結晶粉末由来のコラップス挙動を示した.このスピニングファイバーの1-MCP徐放結果からアレニウスの式を用いて,活性化エネルギーを算出し,1-MCP・α-CD包接複合体結晶包括ファイバーの特性解析を行った.エレクトロスピニングファイバーの1-MCP徐放挙動を,徐放フラックスを徐放活性化エネルギ項に湿度の影響を考慮した徐放速度式と湿度履歴を考慮した項を加えた推算式を考案し,スピングファイバーからの1-MCP徐放挙動の推算をすることが出来た.
