Research Abstract

前年度までの成果に基づき,本年度は,気相-液相界面プラズマによる金ナノ粒子合成の際に重要な役割を果たす還元剤の種類を特定しナノ粒子合成メカニズムを解明するとともに,バイオ応用が期待される金ナノ粒子がコアでDNAがシェルである新規コアシェル型ナノ粒子を制御して合成し,さらにドラッグデリバリーへの応用を目指して,カーボンナノチューブ(CNT)への挿入実験を行った.
1.気相-液相界面プラズマにより合成される金ナノ粒子の密度,直径の時間発展を詳細に調べることによって,金ナノ粒子合成にはプラズマによって形成される寿命の異なる2つのカテゴリーの還元剤が重要な役割を果たしていることを明らかにした.一つは,短寿命の還元剤であり,プラズマから照射される電子,紫外線,および高エネルギーイオンの液相への照射によって生成される二次電子,水素ラジカル,水酸化ラジカルである.もう一つが,長寿命の還元剤であり,プラズマ照射により液相で生成される過酸化水素(H_2O_2)である.これらの還元剤の生成をプラズマパラメータを変化させて制御することにより,コアシェル型ナノ粒子のサイズ,シェルとしてのDNAの被覆率,ナノ粒子の凝集度などを制御できることを明らかにした.
2.高度に秩序化されたナノ粒子周期構造の実現およびドラッグデリバリーへの応用を目指し,CNTが塗布された基板へのバイアス(V_<DC>)印加によるプラズマイオン照射法を用いることによって,金コアーDNAシェルナノ粒子をCNT内部へ挿入する実験を行った結果,V_<DC>を正方向に増加させることによって,CNT内部およびCNTの束の隙間にナノ粒子が存在することが明らかとなり,本手法により金コアーDNAシェルナノ粒子を内包したCNT形成が可能であることを実証した.このようにして形成された金ナノ粒子とCNTの複合物質は,高効率の光電変換素子の創製のみならず,タンパク質高感度センシング等の幅広いバイオ・医療分野への応用が期待できる.
