Research Abstract

核子間ポテンシャル・核力は、従来現象論的に求められてきたが、これをQCDに基づき、第一原理的に決定することは、言うまでもなく非常に大きな意義を持つ。特に、現代の原子核物理において、三体力の決定は最も重要な課題の一つとなっている。実際、三体力は、少数核子系における引力効果、高密度系における斥力効果など、多彩な性質を持つと考えられている。さらに、超新星爆発や中性子星の性質、さらには元素合成への影響も指摘されるなど、宇宙・天体物理との学際分野でもある。このような重要性に鑑み、本研究では格子QCDによる三体力の第一原理計算を行ってきた。
前年度は、三核子系を等距離直線上に配置した場合において、三体力を求めるためのフレームワークを提唱し、実際の計算を行った。今年度は、計算の統計を増やすことで精度を上げると共に、より多くの核子間距離での計算を行うことで、距離依存性をより詳細に決定した。これらから、近距離での三体斥力効果を世界で初めて見出している。これは核物質系や中性子星中心部などでまさに現象論的に必要とされていた重要な効果であり、結果を論文にまとめ、雑誌に投稿中である。
さらに、格子計算において、励起状態からの寄与をコントロールするために、ポテンシャルを求める際に用いるシュレーディンガー方程式を、時間非依存型から時間依存型に変更することで、より系統誤差を抑えた解析も行った。また、格子間隔が小さい計算も行うことで、離散化誤差の検証も進展している。
