Research Abstract

本年度は、博士後期課程3年間の研究計画の最終年度にあたり、これまでに行ってきた「祖母-母-娘」三代の関係性イメージ調査の結果をまとめ、世代や立場を超えて共通する、関係性のなかでの女性の生涯発達的・生成継承的ライフサイクルモデルの試案作成を目指して研究活動を行った。
1.老年期「祖母」世代を対象とした、三代の関係性イメージ調査の実施:2011年4～12月
老年期の「祖母」世代を対象として、「祖母-母-娘」三代の関係性イメージを問うイメージ画調査を行った。インタビュー調査も企画し協力者を募集していたが、実施には至らなかった。
2.母系社会の伝統の残る土地でのフィールドワーク:2011年9月
いまなお母系的なつながりの強い沖縄久高島へ赴き、土地の重要人物である数人の「おばあ」に話を聞いたり行動を共にしたりして、フィールドワークを行った。その結果は、グローバルCOE総括シンポジウム(12月:京都)のポスター発表にまとめた。
3.国内外の関連学会や研究会への参加および研究発表:通年
所属する国内外の学会で研究経過および成果を発表し、関心を共有する研究者との交流・意見交換に努めた。具体的に言うと、国内では日本心理学会(9月:東京)・日本質的心理学会(11月:広島)・日本発達心理学会(3月:名古屋)において口頭発表およびポスター発表を行った。国際的には、ノースイースタン・イリノイ大学で行われた生涯発達心理学に関する国際シンポジウム(7月:シカゴ)において、これまでの研究内容をまとめた「世代間関係のヴィジュアル・ナラティヴ」と題した口頭発表を行った。いずれの場においても、有意義な議論が展開した。
