| Research Abstract |
This paper reports about DAI nationality's houses and village in YunNan of CHINA. The investigation were done a preliminary investigation of 16 villages in JinHong, and executed the emphasis investigation of two village. The investigation were done in 1999〜2000 at Xishuangbanna.
The result are as follow;
Houses and village are based on Spirit religious faith and Buddhism. And Spirit religious faith coexist with Buddhism on houses and village. Space structure of houses and space structure of village are the same. There are two symbols; God and Heart.
Space structure of village are God of village, Hart of village and Gate of village. There is a mechanism which the annual event succeeds to now. The villager's making unity and cooperation from holding the event becomes disregarding. The component and the event are prepared in multi-story.
As a result, the environment which can be continued is formed, and an good community is formed.
