| Research Abstract |
Our task of this year was to complete our three-year-continued-study, titled "Environmental Sociological Studies on Local Development and Environmental Problems in Asian Societies." First, we completed data cleaning and summing up of data by July. Data was collected in the survey, carried out in 4 countries in the previous year. In August, we had a preliminary meeting where reearchers reported the results of data analyses. After the meeting, researchers started to write reports with consideration of the discussion we had in the meeting. In November, we had another meeting with researchers from abroad. Then, we completed our report in February, 2001.
We also carried out a field research in Indonesia. It was supplementary research to the one fo the previous year.
